@Lady Mama: It has, and it still does help quite a bit when I am feeling exhausted and tired. I just remind myself that maybe this wouldn’t have been possible…

@Patricia: We should all go and post on these PCO’s forums. Honestly, when I was looking, there were only awful stories. Maybe it’s time to spread some positive stories…

@Dancinfairy: The 18th was the day we found out, so the 19th is my birthday. Not a bad day for a birthday Sunshine almost guaranteed. All the best of luck for the birth and the newbee!

What a lovely post. Thank you for sharing. My baby is due on the 18th July, my birthday is on the 29th and my husband’s is on the 30th. Fingers crossed the baby will arrive before our birthdays and be the best present ever.

We have two July birthdays at our house and one June…I had poly cystic ovary syndrome and two healthy babies – with surprise announcements and 1 adoption! -no morning sickness with that one! I was told that my case was so severe and I had chemo with a cancer surgery so pregnancy was not even possible –
Some birthday presents are just the bestest – Congratulations. Stay healthy and watch out for remodeling toxins…

What a wonderful story, especially since it has a happy ending. It must have made the experience of being pregnant so much more meaningful to you, having wondered if it might happen at all.

Would love to see photos of the completed renovation by the way. I miss beautiful London Georgian houses.

@ThatGirl39: The whole experience was like one shock after the other. Every time I thought I just recovered from a shock, the next disgusting/gross/worrying thing was just around the corner. And it still hasn’t stopped.

@Maternal Tales: My acupuncturist, who specialises in fertility treatment, called me a walking wonder. Sure, she sees more of the PCO’s cases that do have serious problems, but still, it’s not that you get the diagnose and are delighted to here the news… Promised, I will make a renovation post. I think I have about a zillion pictures.

@Cartside: Actually, I didn’t plan a part II. But I will consider one now, definitely!

@Elsie: Sorry, I know you didn’t mean it that way (please tell me you didn’t!), but I do hope they took a bit longer than 2 minutes to happen

@Iota: Isn’t this expression quite misleading? What does it mean? You discover that you’re sick in the morning, but it will last all day?

@Zooarchaeologist: Ok ok, part 2 is on its way!

@aconfusedtakethatfan: Happy for your friend that it did happen in the end. Two years can be a very long time, I imagine.

@BiB: It does feel like a hundred ears ago – and: thanks! The renovation is finished. Apart from a few minor nags that will stay like they are – until we decide to sell the house, maybe. Which is never, I hope. Boxes, builders and bulldozers: stay away form me!!!

@Mommy Words: Thanks for stopping by! I will do a post, with pics and all. Have to go round and take a few shots of the finished work. Before it stars all coming down again Which it already does, in a few corners. Isn’t that annoying??!!
