8 things I’m looking forward to:

• Our summer vacation in the Southwest of France
• Seeing my friend Ginni so soon
• Visiting my little sister in Barcelona next year
• A haircut (on vacation, with Big M watching little L)
• My birthday in July (what’s not to love about presents and cake and being showered with kisses all day?)
• Little L waking up every morning
• Finding the time to draw more (I will eventually find the time!)
• Finishing the book I write

8 things I did yesterday:

• Slung my arms around my big brother, who is here to visit
• Watched little L picking her nose for the first time ever
• Spoke to my grandma on the phone
• Changed uncounted diapers
• Defeated the laundry tower
• Had a walk with little L in her Baby Bjoern
• Had too much chocolate
• Sat in the garden until late with big brother and Big M

8 things I wish I could do:

• Speak Italian
• Speak Spanish
• Sleep through a whole night and then another and another and another
• Spend more time with my siblings
• Keep up with the news
• Concentrate on an adult conversation, follow it and add something meaningful to it
• Skiing (I am only good at snowboarding, but that’s so 90’s)
• Bake a cake that’s not black on the outside and runny on the inside
