Hotsling baby carrier to give away. Attention: only for the seasoned user

Hotsling baby carrier to give away. Attention: only for the seasoned user
When I was pregnant with little L, I envisioned myself as one of those boho style mummies: long hair floating in the wind, wrapped in a poncho, baby L snugly propped into her baby pouch carrier. Continue reading

In the name of the Father, the Son and…

Last Sunday was seeing little L and me attending the Christening of L’s babyfriend T. On our way to the reception, one of the guests asked me, if I was going to have little L baptised. Answering the question herself, she said ‘Well, I guess it’s better to have them baptised at an early age.’ Is it? I am not quite so sure. Continue reading

Wednesday Weigh-In Vol. 11. Or: The missing ingredient

To encourage further shrinkage, I have recently replaced my beloved Pain au Chocolat with muesli for breakfast. So when I absent-mindedly read the text on the muesli box, the scales fell from my eyes. (!) My diet was missing an essential ingredient. Two weeks of stuffing myself with white bread and butter left me feeling a little bloated, to say the least. I didn’t want to be a killjoy, but I also didn’t want to demotivate my dieting self. That’s why I didn’t hit the scales when I came back form our delicious vacation. I am not as brave as Fab Brunette, sorry guys! Continue reading

Vacation en famille

We were counting the days to our first family vacation. Two weeks on the French Atlantic coast. Our first holiday since our honeymoon and our first ever holiday as a family. Our expectations weren’t disappointed, au contraire! Although, I noticed a few little differences to the style in which we took on les vacances before having little L. Continue reading

I blame Tara

I think I said that before, but as I was given the official chance by That Girl: I blame Tara. For luring me into this world, welcoming me with open arms and with the utmost enthusiasm, and for making me smile, laugh and cry into my coffee mug.

And I blame her for the Meme, which just comes along nicely as my blogging brain seems to have gone blank for the moment. Continue reading
