Beauty on a budget: the Chelsea edition

If you smell a bit of an oxymoron here, hold on tight to your big rollers and smell again. In the past few weeks, I have been selflessly testing every nail salon within walking distance. Of course, it was only a question of days before the next chipped nail would force me into uncovering a hidden gem.

And hidden it shall be no longer. Let me introduce you to the New York Mani- and Pedicure, package price £32. Or even better, get a non-expiring course of ten for £230. In SW3. On the Kings Road.

I know. It’s almost too good to be true. Woohoo!

I am feeling ecstatic, and I promise I didn’t sniff the acetone. Ok, not much.

The Chelsea Day Spa, 69a King’s Road, London SW3 4NX, Tel. 020 7351 0911

  1. ooh that is good! I need to go! I need more pampering (says the lady who has just come back from a hotel weekend- but there was no pampering!)

  2. I’ve never had a professional manicure, it just seems like such an extravagance. And I can’t bear the thought of anyone touching my feet!

  3. You remind me to book in my spa day with Dove Spa! And I’ve also got a voucher for Neil’s Yard Remedies…. Those sounds like very reasonable prices for the Kings Road.

  4. Its a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it!!! I do love a pedicure. When we visit the US I seek out the best place in town to visit a few times whilst there. Looking foward to my next trip coming up!

  5. Good on you! I’d never had a mani pedi until we arrived in America and people are mad for them here. They are like one of the human rights here, honestly! I am very tickly so have to keep going to same person

  6. Awesome, I love being pampered. I will defo be heading up to the King’s road several times this summer season!
